Paul ‘Basil’ O’Halloran grew up on a farm adjacent to the rainforests of the Tarkine.
It was during this time that he developed a passion for the region. He is determined to make sure the regions special characteristics are there for future generations to enjoy. Basil has a science and teaching degree with majors in Geology and Biology. He has been a teacher, lecturer and tutor, and most recently a politician in the Tasmanian parliament.
